KAMLOOPS — If the Kamloops Venom and Vernon Tigers meet for a sixth straight year in the Thompson Okanagan Junior Lacrosse League final, Kamloops will have home-court advantage in a stuffy, hot Memorial Arena, where they earned a 12-9 win in the regular season finale last night against Vernon.

It’s the Venom’s first regular season title since 2014.

But first, the Venom will have to get by the South Okanagan Flames in the opening round.

Kamloops went 3-1 against the Flames, including a 21-7 win on Sunday. First game of the best-of-five goes Tuesday in Kamloops.
