Free agent Williams brings another dynamic to Lions offence

KAMLOOPS — It was a calculated gamble by Wally Buono to sign free agent star receiver Chris Williams in the off season.

Williams, who broke a CFL receiving record early last season with the Ottawa RedBlacks, suffered a knee injury and missed the final four games of the season and the RedBlacks run to the Grey Cup championship.

The injury required surgery from which Williams is continuing to re-hab.
