Kamloops Chamber touts advantages of minority government
KAMLOOPS — The president of the Kamloops and District Chamber of Commerce watched the election results with great interest last night.
Paul Ross says despite the BC Liberals being perceived as more business-friendly, the chamber had no rooting interest.
“We, as an organization, take a neutral stance on whoever forms the government,” said Ross. “We will discuss with the government-to-be and the opposition and we work with any party that’s involved in business issues and decisions.”
Ross says, if the minority government situation remains, that has several advantages.
