KAMLOOPS — For the first time this election all nine candidates in the two Kamloops ridings gathered in one room to discuss their stances on a variety of issues.

The media sponsored all-candidates forum gave area residents an opportunity to ask their questions.

Topics included healthcare, the economy, education, and the KGHM Ajax copper gold mine.

Voters have plenty to think about heading into the May 9th election, and once the dust settled at last night’s forum area residents had gathered a little more information to base their decisions.

It was a vocal crowd of spectators that were eager to ask, or shout, their questions.

Many were looking to hear more on specific issues before casting their vote.
