Women found after tense search near Adams Lake

CHASE, B.C. — RCMP are warning public groups to stay together if they are heading into wooded areas.

The message comes after a tense search near Adams Lake Provincial Park Sunday night.

A group of people were out for a drive on nearby logging roads when a pair of 21 year old women got out, and the rest of the group left them behind.

The group returned, but the women were gone.

RCMP searchers, the police dog service and Kamloops Search and Rescue volunteers were called out to look for them.
