Kamloops building sector bounces back in March

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops building sector had a strong month in March.

New numbers released by the City of Kamloops show $11.8 million in permit activity last month, compared to $8.5 million in March of 2016.

That brings the year-to-date total close to last year’s pace, trending about 9 per cent behind.

Of last month’s construction activity, the majority came up as a single-family homes, to the tune of 24 starts valued at more than $8 million.
