
Burnaby Winter Club wins B.C. bantam hockey championship

KAMLOOPS — Burnaby Winter Club has won the B.C. tier one bantam hockey championship with a 6-0 win over the Kamloops Junior Blazers.
Burnaby went through the tournament undefeated at 6-and-0.
The champions opened the scoring with two goals less than a minute apart midway through the second period and led 4-0 after two.
The host Junior Blazers, who made the final with a 5-1 win over Vernon, finished the tournament with three wins and three losses.
