Chase Heat haul in KIJHL awards

KAMLOOPS — The Chase Heat have picked up a handful of regular season awards in the Kootenay Junior Hockey League — including regular season champions in the Birks Division.

Brad Fox has been named the Birks coach of the year.

With 23 goals and 66 points in 45 games Michael Fidanza is the division scoring champion and MVP.

The Heats Nic Bruyere has been named Birks Division top goaltender, Pat Brady top defenseman and Josh Bourne is the most sportsmanlike player for both the division and the entire league.
