KAMLOOPS — Mother Nature won’t be helping Kamloops residents get rid of the dump of snow that has fallen in the past couple of days.
Meteorologist Alyssa Charbonneau says a cold blast of air will dominate the region all week.
“We are looking at temperatures overnight for Tuesday night down to around -17 or so. Daytime temperatures are going to be around the -10 range. That is going to continue though the second half of the week, into the weekend,” said Charbonneau, adding, “Look for things to clear up, and become sunny, but also for temperatures to drop back down again.”
Charbonneau says some relief may come by Sunday, with temperatures near the freezing mark.
But she notes that is simply returning to seasonal norms, which include highs of around minus-1 for Kamloops in early January.
