KAMLOOPS — RCMP have released the name of the homicide victim from December 30th in Kamloops.

42-year-old Sean Dunn succumbed to his injuries after an early morning fight near the 400 block of Tranquille Road.

Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says the investigation has now been handed over to the RCMP’s Serious Crime Unit.

“Right now the Serious Crime Unit has taken all the information that has been gathered, and they believe this event occurred from perhaps an argument between two individuals who had just met each other that night at a local pub,” Shelkie told CFJC Today.

Shelkie adds the RCMP have spoken to all people believed to be involved in the incident.

This was the city’s fourth homicide of 2016.

No suspects have been arrested in this case.
