LOGAN LAKE, B.C. — RCMP have a pair of people in custody after a crime spree that spanned two days throughout the Logan Lake, Merritt and Ashcroft areas.

It began last Friday morning, when a couple tried to make a purchase from a Merritt gas station using a stolen credit card.

They got away without the items, but when they tried the same crime at a gas station in Logan Lake a short time later, they made off with about $200 in merchandise and gas.

An RCMP officer noticed the vehicle in question that evening on the Coquihalla Highway.
