KAMLOOPS — There will be a number of new voices and opinions on CFJC Today beginning next week.

The news portal will be welcoming four new columnists to offer commentary on politics, technology, environment and all other issues that matter to the local community.

The new additions includes Mel Rothenburger, former editor of the Kamloops Daily News and columnist for the Armchair Mayor.

In addition to writing two columns a week, Rothenburger will also provide his opinion on the CFJC TV Evening News on Wednesday nights starting next week.

The web portal is also welcoming David Charbonneau, Bill McQuarrie and Daniela Ginta.

The columnists join James Peters and his weekly Two and Out editorial.

News Director Doug Collins will also write two columns a week.

Collins is known for his longtime TV and radio editorial One Man’s Opinion, which he retired in 2012 after 40 years.
