Edmonton Oilers recall Taylor Beck from minor league Bakersfield Condors

EDMONTON — Winger Taylor Beck was recalled from the American Hockey League by the Edmonton Oilers on Sunday

Beck, 25, has appeared in eight games with the Bakersfield Condors this season, scoring three goals and nine assists with four penalty minutes and a plus-4 rating.

He had a goal and three assists on Saturday against the Texas Stars, leading the Condors to a 5-3 victory. Beck’s 12 points rank him fourth in AHL scoring.

The St. Catharines, Ont., native has 64 goals, 113 assists and 134 penalty minutes in 251 career AHL games. Beck has also appeared in 16 AHL playoff games, with two goals, two assists and eight penalty minutes.
