UPDATED: RCMP report Julia Cail has been located.

KAMLOOPS — Police have put out a call for help finding a missing elderly woman.

Corporal Jody Neuls says 79 year old Julia Cail was last seen Wednesday during the noon hour at the Greyhound bus depot on Notre Dame Drive, and was believed to be on her way to Edmonton.

Neuls says she could be anywhere between Kamloops and the Alberta capital.

“She was last seen at the Greyhound bus station. We are not sure if she actually got onto the bus, but she is believed to have got onto the bus that would have made numerous stops between Kamloops and Calgary, where she would have transferred buses onto another bus headed to complete her journey to Edmonton,” explained Cpl. Neuls.

Neuls says Cail’s family lives in Kamloops and is concerned for her well-being.

Julia is described as:

  • Race: Caucasian
  • Hair: Short, brown hair, greying around temples
  • Weight: 150 lbs
  • Height: 4 foot 10 inches
  • Last seen wearing bright red waist length jacket, blue jeans, and white sneakers
  • Could be travelling with two wheeled, dark blue suitcases.
