The deep-pocketed super PAC backing Hillary Clinton had its best fundraising month yet, just in time for the final stretch of the election.
Priorities USA told federal regulators Thursday that it raised nearly $25 million in September. A $6 million chunk of that came from one donor, Donald Sussman, a billionaire investor based in Florida. He’s now given upward of $16 million to Priorities, which has spent more than any group except the Clinton campaign on presidential advertising.
