Illicit drug death count in Kamloops rises to 25
KAMLOOPS — New numbers from the BC Coroners Service show the number of illicit drug deaths in the province has already eclipsed the total for all of 2015.
555 people have died after using illicit drugs to the end of September, compared to 508 all of last year.
In Kamloops, the total is now up to 25, up from just seven in 2015.
