Gropp returned to Thunderbirds

KAMLOOPS — Ryan Gropp is returning to the Seattle Thunderbirds for his over-age season.

The 20-year old from Kamloops was assiged to the Thunderbirds yesterday by the New York Rangers from their American League team in Hartford.

Gropp has 70 points, including 36 goals with Seattle last season.

His return leaves Seattle with four 20-year olds, one over the maximum allowed.
