Blazers fall 3-1 to the Giants in Langley
LANGLEY, B.C. — The Blazers suffered a 3-1 loss playing their third game in as many nights on Sunday night in Langley against the Vancouver Giants.
The Giants were the fresher team and scored the game’s first goal. Brendan Semchuk took a nice feed from Dawson Holt and scored his second of the season.
James Malm made it 2-0 on an odd man rush. He finished off a rebound as the Giants had the 2-0 lead nine minutes into the game.
Luke Zazula got the Blazers on the scoreboard in the second period. His shot from the point found its way through traffic and past goaltender Ryan Kubic to cut the Giants lead to 2-1.
