Raptors to play pre-season games against Warriors in Vancouver, Nuggets in Calgary
TORONTO — Stephen Curry and the star-studded Golden State Warriors will take on the Toronto Raptors in a pre-season game in Vancouver as part of the annual NBA Canada Series.
The game, which will also mark the Warriors debut of superstar Kevin Durant, will take place Oct.1 as part of the Raptors’ preparations for the 2016-17 season.
Toronto, featuring the all-star guard combo of DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry, will also face the Denver Nuggets in Calgary on Oct. 3.
This will be the third straight season that Toronto plays an exhibition game in Vancouver. Last season the Raptors beat the Los Angeles Clippers 93-73 at Rogers Arena behind 26 points from Lowry.
