LONG-SOUGHT INQUIRY LAUNCHES TODAY
A number of indigenous traditions are expected to be part of a ceremony at the Canadian Museum of History in Gatineau, Que., today, where the federal government will hand over the inquiry into missing and murdered aboriginal women to five commissioners. Indigenous Affairs Minister Carolyn Bennett met with the families of the victims Tuesday night to brief them on the details of the inquiry.
