Aberdeen Mall closed due to power outage

KAMLOOPS — Attention mall shoppers, Aberdeen Mall has had to close for the day after a power outage.

Kamloops Fire Rescue crews responded to the mall just before 2pm.

Shortly after crews arrived, it was determined the issue was caused by a rooftop air conditioner.

While the majority of the mall is closed, Sears and The Bay remain open until their normal closing at 6pm.
