Jurors see video of Richard Henry Bain falling to the floor during interrogation
MONTREAL — Jurors at Richard Henry Bain’s murder trial saw footage Wednesday of the accused slumping to the floor as he was being questioned by a police investigator.
The interrogation took place on Sept. 6, 2012, two days after one man was shot to death and and another was wounded on the night of the Quebec election.
Bain, 65, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of lighting technician Denis Blanchette and attempted murder after the same bullet hit another stagehand, David Courage.
He has pleaded not guilty to all six charges, including three of attempted murder and two that are arson-related.
