Happy Canada Day!

KAMLOOPS —  All is in readiness for Canada Day celebrations in Riverside Park tomorrow.

It starts with the usual pancake breakfast put on by the Brock Lions starting at 7:00 AM and ends with the fireworks starting about 10:30 PM. In between, something for just about everyone.

City officials are urging as many as possible to take the bus, which will operate on a Saturday schedule and run later to get people home from the fireworks. Pedal Parking is also available for those who take their bikes.

Art in the Park, with hundreds of displays, runs from 9:00- 5:00 PM, Folkfest is on at the bandshell starting at 10:30 and there will be music in the park right through until the fireworks start. International Food Booths and cultural displays will also be seen.
