Investigators looking into two overnight fires in Kamloops
KAMLOOPS — Fire investigators have a busy day ahead of them as they look into a couple of overnight fires in Kamloops.
Platoon Captain Rob Chalmers with Kamloops Fire Rescue says the first of two significant fire calls came around midnight for a structure fire in the 200 block of Nelson Ave.
A detached garage was on fire.
“Our crews did an initial attack, knocked down the fire quite quickly, and spent approximately an hour and a half after that putting out hot spots and making sure it wasn’t going to go any further,” Chalmers said.
