Honour House provides respite for recovering emergency responders
KAMLOOPS — It’s a home away from home. The Honour House is a place where emergency first responders and military members can stay when they or their family are receiving medical treatment and need a place to stay.
On Monday, the Tour of Honour landed in Kamloops at the North Shore Community Policing station, bringing awareness to the Honour House in New Westminster that is home to emergency personnel recovering from on-the-job injuries, including PTSD.
