KAMLOOPS – The Kamloops courthouse is back open after a bomb threat led to its evacuation this morning.
Speaking to us earlier, Corporal Jodi Shelkie said the threat was called in to the Kamloops RCMP detachment.

“This morning at 8:50 the Kamloops RCMP received a phone call, it was a bomb threat to the Kamloops Courthouse, and we immediately attended,” Shelkie told CFJC Today.
Shelkie says a local bomb-sniffing dog conducted a sweep of the entire building and found no explosives.
Employees and members of the public were allowed back in at about 11:20.
Shelkie adds investigators will now try to determine who called in the threat.
