Body found near Salmon Arm Secondary School

SALMON ARM, B.C. — A dead body was found on the grounds of a Salmon Arm school on this morning.
In a letter sent to families of students at Salmon Arm Secondary School, the principal said the body was found around 6am Monday February 1, before students arrived to the school.
Principal Reid Findlay said in a press release that Students had arrived at school to discover numerous RCMP vehicles and officers and a yellow ribbon protecting the scene.
In the release, Findlay said the body was found below the school tennis courts near the field house.
