KAMLOOPS — WolfPack women’s soccer will have a new head coach when the 2016 CIS season begins next September.

Athletic director Ken Olynyk says the contract of Tom McManus has been “concluded early.”

Olynyk says the decision was based on wanting to take the program in a different direction.

McManus had been the WolfPack head coach for five seasons.

The first three in Canadian College, in which they had a record of 36 wins, 13 losses and 14 ties.

The last two seasons were in CIS.In 2014 they had a record of 1-10-1.

This past season the WolfPack were 5-7-2 under McManus.

Olynyk says they felt they weren’t getting where they wanted to be and decided to make a change.

Olynyk says they’ll do a national search for a new head coach.
