Sahali liquor store robbed at gunpoint

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are looking for a suspect in an armed robbery at a Sahali liquor store.

At about 10:35 last night, a man entered the Liquor Depot on Summit Drive, pointed a gun at two employees and demanded cash.

Police say he left the store with cash and cigarettes, fleeing in a white SUV.

Corporal Cheryl Bush says police were given a good description of the suspect.

He is white, in his mid- to late-20s and weighs about 165 pounds.

At the time, he was wearing red, green and black plaid pajama pants, black runners with white soles, black gloves, a black mask, and a black jacket with the word “Mountain” written in white letters on the back.
