Coroner IDs worker who died at Inland Glass

KAMLOOPS — The BC Coroners Service has identified a man who died while working at Inland Glass in Kamloops Monday.

He was 23 year old Reegan Joachim Winofsky of Kamloops.

According to the coroner, Winofsky experienced a “witnessed medical event” and was unresponsive.

Emergency responders were unable to revive him.

Along with the coroners service, Worksafe BC and RCMP are still investigating.

It’s not clear whether the medical event was due to an underlying condition or something work-related.
