KAMLOOPS — It’s a new year, but tension remains between Thompson Rivers University and the school’s faculty association.
The sides are locked in a bitter battle over a new contract.
While both sides say they are observing a media blackout, TRUFA has released a series of short videos criticizing the university, and administration has released several infographics to the media, purportedly correcting public misinformation.

Faculty have voted overwhelmingly in favour of strike action, but have yet to issue 72-hour strike notice to the school.
The two sides will be back to the bargaining table later this week, scheduled for three days starting Wednesday.
