KAMLOOPS — The BC Coroners Service has identified a man who died one week after falling from a scissor lift at a Kamloops construction site.
He was 45-year-old Sean Alexander Donetz of Burnaby.
On November 25th, Donetz was an employee of Greer Spray Foam, a Lower Mainland company, and working at the Cityview Shopping Centre when the accident occurred.
The coroners service says he was cleaning up his worksite when he fell about three metres from the scissor lift.
He was immediately rushed to Royal Inland Hospital, and subsequently transferred to hospital in Kelowna.
Donetz died of his injuries on December First.
Worksafe BC is working with the coroners service to determine why he fell, and if his death could have been prevented.
