Kamloops Chamber Business Excellence Awards

420 guests attended the Coast Kamloops Conference Centre last night for the 29th consecutive Kamloops Chamber of Commerce and TD Businesse Excellence Awards. The Chamber received 509 nominations this year according to President Steve Earl. Earl says once you’ve been recognized as one of the businesses of the year, you can use it to further your company and enhance your marketing. He says it’s quite the honor to be recognized by peers and the business community as a whole. Among the recipients were Kamloops Home Hardware for Business of The Year, Van Houtte for the Green Award, Absorbent Products for the Manufacturer award and local realtor Brendan Shaw who was named the Young Entrepreneur of the year.
