Adam Donnelly

Adam Donnelly has deep roots in the North Thompson Valley. He was born and raised in Clearwater, and grew up watching CFJC News, before spending 8 years living, working, and studying in Kamloops.

Adam graduated from BCIT's Broadcast and Media Communications program in 2013, and immediately took a job at CKPG News in Prince George. He worked for two years in BC's Northern Capital; when not working, Adam spent many hours at the rink as the Media Director for the BCMML's Cariboo Cougars. In August 2015, Adam moved back to Kamloops to join CFJC News, as a Videojournalist.

Adam's a passionate sports fan, who enjoys covering local teams. One the highlights of his career, so far, is calling play-by-play for the Men's and Women's Hockey tournaments, during the 2015 Canada Winter Games.

Simulated emergency helps Kamloops first responders train

KAMLOOPS — How safe are you in case of an emergency? This weekend at McArthur Island, emergency services personnel from the City of Kamloops, as well as the Canadian Red Cross held a simulation exercise, to ensure their readiness in case of a widespread emergency event in the city.
