Adam Donnelly

Adam Donnelly has deep roots in the North Thompson Valley. He was born and raised in Clearwater, and grew up watching CFJC News, before spending 8 years living, working, and studying in Kamloops.

Adam graduated from BCIT's Broadcast and Media Communications program in 2013, and immediately took a job at CKPG News in Prince George. He worked for two years in BC's Northern Capital; when not working, Adam spent many hours at the rink as the Media Director for the BCMML's Cariboo Cougars. In August 2015, Adam moved back to Kamloops to join CFJC News, as a Videojournalist.

Adam's a passionate sports fan, who enjoys covering local teams. One the highlights of his career, so far, is calling play-by-play for the Men's and Women's Hockey tournaments, during the 2015 Canada Winter Games.

Not all Kamloops businesses embracing liquor law changes

KAMLOOPS — It’s another step in the BC Liberal’s loosing of provincial liquor laws - today, an updated Liquor Control and Licensing Act took effect, that the government says will create new opportunities for businesses, and increase convenience or customers.

For over a decade the Kamloops Early Language and Literacy Initiative has partnered with the likes of the TNRD Library, the YMCA, Literacy in Kamloops, as well as other stakeholders to put on 'ABC Family Literacy Day.'

Ingram back from WJH with memories and medal

KAMLOOPS — Goaltender Conner Ingram has returned to Kamloops following last nights gold medal game at the World Junior Hockey championship.

It was a game for the ages, between two incredibly talented teams.

Ingram had a front row seat, and comes back with a lot of memories.
