Police investigating car fire on North Shore

KAMLOOPS — RCMP are investigating after a car on the North Shore was heavily damaged by fire.

Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says police were called to a car fire behind the North Bridge Hotel and Suites on Tranquille Road at roughly 4:50 a.m. today, Nov. 1.

“At this time the investigation is still ongoing into what the cause of the fire is and we haven’t determined at this time if it’s suspicious or not,” Shelkie says.

She adds that the car was heavily damaged by the fire.
