Prince George motel fire causes $150,000 in damage

PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. —  $150,000 of damage has been done after a fire at a downtown Prince George motel early this morning. 

Fire crews were called out around 1:30 a.m. to the Willow Inn at 1600 Victoria St. to find three units of the 20-unit motel fully on fire. 

Crews quickly gained control and extinguished the fire, but major damage was done to the three units.

The structure was vacant and no injuries were reported to fire personnel.

An investigation into the cause continues.
