Body recovered from Mara Lake

SICAMOUS — A police dive team has recovered a body from Mara Lake, south of Sicamous.
 
Mounties say its a 26 year old Alberta man who went missing Monday morning after swimming into the lake to help another man in distress.
 
Police say the body was found in about two metres of water between a beach and resort marina.
 
Foul play is not suspected as police turn the case over to the Coroner’s Service to investigate.
