One injured in North Shore shooting in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — RCMP are investigating a shooting on the city's North Shore that left one man injured. 

Officers were called to the area of Mulberry Ave. and Wilson St. for reports of shots fired shortly after 10 p.m. Saturday. 

A 26-year-old man had been shot in the foot while walking in the area. He was transported to Royal Inland Hospital.

RCMP arrested several known suspects at a residence on Wilson St. and remained on scene overnight to investigate. 

The victim's injuries are not considered life threatening.
