KAMLOOPS — RCMP in Revelstoke now say one person died after a wreck on the Trans-Canada Highway near Summit Lake yesterday.

The accident happened about 40 kilometres west of Revelstoke just before 11:30 am when three vehicles collided.

The cause of the collision is still under investigation, however initial reports indicate that a westbound vehicle with Manitoba licence plates crossed the centre line colliding with an eastbound vehicle from Alberta.

That caused the Manitoba vehicle to rotate further into the eastbound lane where it was struck on the passenger side by a second east bound vehicle.
