Original song, music video features students from Sk’elep School of Excellence

TK’EMLUPS — A group of students at the Sk’elep School of Excellence on the Tk’emlups Reserve are stars of their own music video, thanks to a unique Aboriginal arts program.

N’we Jinan is a nonprofit organization that travels to communities across North America with a mobile recording studio.

Its goal is to allow Indigenous youth to express themselves creatively, with a professional touch.

The Sk’elep students were recorded performing the original song “We Won’t Forget You.”

The video features several buildings and landmarks on the Tk’emlups Reserve prominently.
