Woman airlifted to Kamloops with serious injuries after accident Thursday

ENDERBY — A 39 year old Aldergrove man is facing charges in connection with the accident that shut down a section of Highway 97 A north of Enderby yesterday morning.

Police say a stolen SUV crossed the centre line and struck a southbound pickup truck driven by a 58-year-old Salmon Arm woman.

She was airlifted to hospital in Kamloops with serious injuries.

The man driving the SUV was also injured.
