KAMLOOPS, B.C. — Five men have been arrested for trafficking drugs in Kamloops.

Kamloops RCMP Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says the arrests occured last weekend at the North Shore Market and downtown corridors.

“During this two day project, several purchases of drugs were made by undercover officers,” she says. “These controlled substances will be sent away to determine their exact composition, but they are believed to be methamphetamine, heroin and fentanyl. Cash and cellular phones were also seized.”

Shelkie says the males, who have yet to be named, were released with a December court date.
