Extras needed for Merritt commercial shoot

KAMLOOPS — Lights, camera, action!

Extras are needed for scenes in an Ubisoft commercial to film in the Merritt and Lower Nicola area for four days from Sept. 26 to Sept. 29.

Fifty extras — males and females, all ethnicities, 20 years and older — are required for two days of filming and a few extras for the other two days.

People with ‘character’ faces are considered a bonus and will be asked to play church patrons and others. Those interested are asked to wear street clothes and must have their own transportation and be legal to work in Canada.

Extras cast will be paid a minimum of $15 per hour plus overtime and travel time.

Casting sessions will take place tomorrow from 6-9 p.m. at the Merritt Civic Centre, Thursday from 6-9 p.m. at the Plaza Hotel in Kamloops and Friday from 6-9 p.m. at the Lower Nicola Indian Band.
