100 MILE HOUSE, B.C. — There are dozens of wildfires still active in the Cariboo Fire Centre, most of them triggered by a storm cell that blew through Friday afternoon.

The most threatening fires remain the Gustafsen blaze near 100 Mile House.

That fire is mapped at 32-hundred hectares and growing.

Evacuation orders remain in place to the west and north of 100 Mile House, including 103 Mile, 105 Mile, 108 Mile and north toward Lac La Hache.

There are several fires surrounding Williams Lake and nearby 150 Mile House that have led to evacuations as well.

An emergency services centre is set up at Lake City Secondary School in Williams Lake.
