Missing cyclist found dead near Lillooet, B.C.

LILLOOET, B.C. — A man reported missing while on a cycling trip from Smithers to Saanich has been found dead near Lillooet.

45 year old Sean David Kuntz was last seen at the Caribou Visitor Centre in 100 Mile House on June 14.

He had been cycling to Saanich to visit his mother, and was reported missing June 18.

Lillooet RCMP and a local Search and Rescue team found Kuntz's body in the Fraser River on Saturday.

RCMP say foul play is not suspected in the man's death, and the investigation has been handed over to the BC Coroners Service.
