KAMLOOPS — Late last season the B.C. Lions brought kicker Paul McCallum out of retirement when Richie Leone’s accuracy on converts and field goals went south.

Given his age at 46 McCallum was only a stop gap measure for the rest of the season.

In January Leone followed his accuracy south —- given his release by the Lions so he could sign with the NFL Arizona Cardinals.

Leaving the Lions looking for a new kicker.

They feel they’ve found one with both CFL and NFL experience.
