CFJC nabs three RTNDA Awards

KAMLOOPS — CFJC took home some hardware at the BC regional RTDNA Awards Saturday night.

Every year the Radio Television Digital News Association honours the top journalists, stations and news gathering organizations throughout the country.

Saturday's event held at the Pan Pacific Hotel in downtown Vancouver honoured the best in B.C. 

CFJC nabbed three awards including best news website for a small market, the Bert Cannings Award for best TV newscast for a small market, and the Byron MacGregor Award for best radio newscast for a small market.

The station now goes on to compete in all three categories on the national stage.

Radio anchor James Peters accepted the awards on behalf of the entire CFJC News team.
