Storm season ends in loss to Chase

KAMLOOPS — The Chase Heat have won the KIJHL Birks Division final.

Kolten Moore broke a 2-2 tie with a power play goal with 3:45 left in the third period and the Heat went on to a 4-2 win over the Kamloops Storm.

Chase won the best-of-seven series in five games.

After the Storm won game one the Heat won the next four.

Chase will face the Osoyoos Coyotes in the Okanagan Conference final.
