Junior Blazers win Abbotsford bantam hockey tournament

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Junior Blazers won the Dallas Saunders Memorial Bantam Hockey Tournament in Abbotsford over the Family Day weekend.

They went 5-and-0 downing the Arizona Bobcats 6-2 in the final.

It was the third tournament win of the season for the Jr. Blazers, who also captured the Kamloops International Bantam Tournament in January.

Two players from the Jr. Blazers were award winners and all-stars at the Abbotsford Tournament ---- forward Logan Stankoven was tournament MVP, and Adam Niles was named the top goaltender.
