Men's WolfPack Basketball celebrate back-to-back wins

Lancaster, CA—The Thompson Rivers University WolfPack went unbeaten at an exhibition men’s basketball tournament in Lancaster, California.

The WolfPack won their second straight game as they downed the host University of Antelope Valley 76-75 on Friday night (Dec 30).

Thompson Rivers led 42-36 at the half and were up by 12 at one points.

“It was a good game for us,” stated WolfPack head coach Scott Clark. “ We showed some toughness and grit.”

TRU was led by fourth-year forward Luke Morris of Mission, BC.  He had 23 points.

The ‘Pack return to league play in the Canada West on Friday, January 6, 2017. They entertain the University of Victoria Vikes. Tip off on the Warner Rentals court at the Tournament Capital Centre will be 8 pm. It’s the first of four straight home games for TRU, who enter the second half of the year with a .500 record.
